Kent Supreme Alkaline water purifier sets this anomaly right by introducing alkaline content into RO-purified water and making the water slightly alkaline and taste better.

This water purifier has similar components to any other Kent RO water purifier, save for the Alkaline booster. It contains mineral balls that leech essential minerals like silica, calcium, copper, etc., to RO-purified water to increase its pH value and make it alkaline.

Performance-wise, this water purifier is like other Kent RO water purifiers because it uses the TDS controller mechanism to replenish the essential minerals lost during the RO water purification process.

The process is fine if the source water does not contain heavy metal impurities and contaminants like arsenic, lead, and mercury.

Another common problem with this Kent Supreme Alkaline water purifier is water wastage. Like all RO water purifiers, this model also wastes much water. But Kent has introduced a solution to reuse the rejected water by pumping it back to the overhead tank for recirculation.

This zero-water wastage claim is more of a misnomer because the machine does not eliminate water wastage.
